A little more about your tutor

My name is Scott, I am a teacher and co-founder of Linglr! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Greg (Linglr's creator) to create this incredible English learning platform. Whether you are looking for 1-1 lessons with a fully qualified teacher, or you need more daily speaking practice, we have got you covered! I personally have 16 years of teaching experience! I attained my PGCE certificate from Exeter University in 2009 and went on to teach (and become a head of department) for 12 years in an English secondary school. Since then, I have transitioned into an Online English Teacher who has lost count of how many lessons I have taught! Over the years, I've worked with students from beginners to advanced learners preparing for IELTS Band 8+, TOEFL, TOEIC, university admissions, and international careers. I've also taught Business English, English for travel, interview preparation, presentation skills, and critical thinking to students from across Europe and East Asia.
